What Is HD? |
||
| High definition video, or HD, is digital video captured and displayed at high resolution.
HD technology allows you to watch our content in unmatched clarity & detail by providing
4 times more pixel resolution than normal TV & DVD and more than 8 times more resolution
than standard Internet video. HD video is formatted in a widescreen, 16:9 aspect ratio,
similar to a movie screen. Colors are bright, the image is crisp and the details are breathtaking. Check out the benefits of our HD movies and compare to the other Internet formats: |

1080p & 720p refer to the resolution of HD video. 1080p represents 1920 x 1080 pixels progressive and 720p represents 1280 x 720 pixels progressive. There are also interlaced variations of these
two resolutions however, interlaced content is *much* lower quality than progressive. We produce and deliver our HD content in the highest possible Full HD resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p). This allows you to experience the highest amount of details in the video. On a computer screen, the difference between 1080p and 720p will not be as significant as on a 30", 50" or 70" HDTV LCD or Plasma display where 1080p really shines. Enjoy full HD 1080p sources such as HD-DVDs, BluRay DVDs, HD gaming consoles such as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and our adult HD content. |
"HD" on other websites |
| The availability of HD content on the Internet is certainly not new. There are many adult websites trying to woo you with “HD Content” or “Hi Def”. 99% of websites that claim HD content mean that the content was FILMED with an HD/HDV camera and not necessarily what you can download. What’s available for you to download & watch is another story. To check if a website is truly providing HD content you must look at (1) the resolution of the video and (2) the bitrate of the video. The ONLY HD resolutions are 1280 x 720 pixels and 1920 x 1080 pixels. If the video is not one of these resolutions, it is not HD. The video must be at least 35MB/minute for 720p and at least 55MB/minute for 1080p. Anything lower than the above will produce many artifacts and will no longer provide HD clarity. Don't let yourself tricked by nice looking photos or screenshots! |
Why WMVHD? |
|
|
HD video content can be delivered in several video formats such as MPEG-2/TS, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264,
MPEG-4 ASP DivX/XviD or VC-1/WMVHD. We have selected the VC-1/WMVHD codec for our videos due to native
playback support on most computers and devices. All other HD video formats require some codec or special
player to be installed by the end-userfor PC playback. |
|
PC Playback System Requirements |
|
Because of the very large filesize and bitrate of the videos, streaming is not supported. You would need a connection to our servers of over 10Mbps in order to have a smooth streaming playing. We strongly recommend downloading the HD videos first before attempting to play them. You do not need anything special aside from a broadband connection and hard drive storage space to download a 1080p HD video to your PC. Once you downloaded the HD video to your computer you can attempt to play it back. For smooth playback the HD videos on your PC, the system requirements are:

HDTV Requirements |
|
![]() | Your HDTV must be able to display 1080p content. Not all HDTVs are able to do so. Anything
manufactured in 2006 and later “should” be OK. To double check if your TV can display progressive
1920x1080 locate your TV’s manual or spec sheet and look for the ‘Native resolution’. If your
HDTV’s native resolution is 1920x1080 then you are good to go. In case your HDTV’s native
resolution is not 1920x1080, it will scale down the video and thus losing some of the quality
or it might simply not be able to display the image at all, depending on the manufacturer. HDMI is the standard type of cable used to connect devices and computers to your HDTV. Your digital cable box, set top box, DVD player or media player should all connect to your HDTV via an HDMI cable. Most HDTVs should support HDMI cable, however you should double check your TV’s manual or spec sheet. |
